Friends of Parker River National Wildlife Refuge

As a member of the Friends, you will become a part of a group dedicated to the conservation of a unique natural heritage.

Some of our activities:

  • Annual Wildlife Festival
  • Scheduled Refuge Cleanups
  • Volunteer to help in the Plover's Nest Gift Shop
  • Outreach Events
  • Education Programs
  • Advocacy
  • Fundraising
  • Networking with other conservation groups
  • Volunteering for Refuge Activities

All members receive a copy of our semiannual newsletter, which contains information about Friends' programs, Refuge management issues, legislation affecting the Refuge and more.

Membership Levels:

  • Individual:                           $15
  • Family or Classroom:        $30
  • Supporting:                        $50
  • Sustaining:                         $100
  • Life or Corporate:             $250

Membership Benefits:

  • Ten percent discount at the Plover's Nest
  • Special tours of areas of the Refuge closed to the general public
  • The opportunity to help and improve our Refuge
