Friends of Parker River National Wildlife Refuge
As a member of the Friends, you will become a part of a group dedicated to the conservation of a unique natural heritage.
Some of our activities:
- Annual Wildlife Festival
- Scheduled Refuge Cleanups
- Volunteer to help in the Plover's Nest Gift Shop
- Outreach Events
- Education Programs
- Advocacy
- Fundraising
- Networking with other conservation groups
- Volunteering for Refuge Activities
All members receive a copy of our semiannual newsletter, which contains information about Friends' programs, Refuge management issues, legislation affecting the Refuge and more.
Membership Levels:
- Individual: $15
- Family or Classroom: $30
- Supporting: $50
- Sustaining: $100
- Life or Corporate: $250
Membership Benefits:
- Ten percent discount at the Plover's Nest
- Special tours of areas of the Refuge closed to the general public
- The opportunity to help and improve our Refuge
