Award-Winning Artist Don Jalbert is our June Artist of the Month!
The Friends of Parker River National Wildlife Refuge are thrilled to announce that award-winning artist Don Jalbert of Epping, New Hampshire, is our featured artist for the month of June.
Don is a long-time supporter of the refuge, and we are delighted to once again showcase his incredible talent. His oil paintings, which beautifully capture the essence of the natural world, have been a favorite among visitors for years. This month’s exhibit is a diverse collection of his work, featuring everything from vibrant garden flowers and local New England wildlife to serene pastoral scenes and even a captivating cityscape.

A man of many talents, Don has dedicated his life to both art and education. He has spent years teaching high school and coaching football, all while honing his skills as a painter. His artistic talents also serve a greater good through his involvement with the Memory Project, an organization that provides portraits to orphaned children around the world, creating lasting mementos of their youth.
Don Jalbert’s paintings will be on display at the Parker River Visitor Center until June 30th. We invite you to come and experience the beauty of his work and celebrate the artistic spirit that thrives within our community.
