Photographing the Milky Way, and the stars in general, has become all the rage in recent years. And, if you’ve ever tried it, you know how technically challenging this type of photography can be. But, not to worry – professional photographer Christopher Georgia will be “in the house” to provide a thorough and easy to follow introduction to astrophotography. He is indeed a master of the discipline. Christopher will address equipment, where and when to go, and camera technique. He will also share his steps for image editing. Attendees are encouraged to bring paper and pencil to take notes. As with all programs that take place in the refuge visitor center’s auditorium, the 85 seats will be filled on a first come, first served basis. No preregistration for this program.
